Street Life it's the only life I know - Crusaders 1979, there is something tangibly exciting about about setting out to shoot some street, the city life whether here n Glasgow or the heart of Malaga offers endless endless opportunities for the photographer, funny scenes, juxtapositions, violence, interaction s with strangers, you just never know what you will see, and if you are going to be able to capture it. Sometimes I use my phone, or my much loved and barely working Ricoh GRiii which seems to have be solely designed for this purpose, other times its the full frame monster, the essence of it all though is to shoot , shoot and shoot again, compositions, shadows, decisive moments abound, if you look hard enough.
It can sometimes take a while to get your eye in, often the first half hour or so I have not shot anything of note, so I choose to either slow down, stop at a suitable location, or move quickly to somewhere fresh, so many elements involved when shooting on the Street, the most important one being , you have to be there to make it work.
